Than The Goonies.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit

The Incredibles

The Princess Bride or Stand By Me for me.

How to Train Your Dragon. I'm an adult and love it.

reply

I adore that movie! And really liked the sequels.

And I'm going to nominate "Coraline", an absolutely stellar movie that's ostentatiously a kiddie film.

reply

One of my granddaughter's really likes How to Train Your Dragon. I watched it with her once and I liked it, too.

Said granddaughter also likes Teen Wolf (the TV series, 2011-2017). At the moment she's obsessed with it. She's watched all the seasons and is now on her second run-through. I watched several episodes with her, but I found it very confusing.

reply

Teen Wolf is okay. I only watched the first season, and at times it's really good but I've heard it's a show that goes downhill pretty fast.

reply

Well, I wouldn't know, but she and I watched only a few episodes in the first season.

reply

I can see the correlation of her liking Teen Wolf and How To Train Your Dragon. Both fantasy related stuff. I found Teen Wolf to be a little creepy. It can be quite dark sometimes given it's supernatural story.

reply

It's a change for her as she gets older. She's been a huge Frozen fan, but now...well, she's aged out of it, I think.

reply

Oh thank goodness for that. From Frozen to Teen Wolf, that is quite the change.

reply

Yep. She's a (beginner) teenager now. 😬

reply

Um, yes.

-Little Giants
-Jumanji
-Hugo
-The Sandlot
-Willy Wonka
-Labyrinth
-Various Dreamworks movies

The Goonies is vastly overrated and one of the weaker kids movies.

Honey, I Shrunk the Kids.

Oh yes! Great choice! And it's fine for adults, too. I'll never forget the first time I saw it. I was amazed by the computer animation.
