getting drunk and watching tv and bitching about it online.
shareHunting, fishing, vinyl records, turntables, VHS, DVD, Blu-ray, Film posters, mixing dance music 80s - 90s, building things and old trucks.
Of course, watching movies with my favorites being Italian genre cinema mid 60s to mid 90s.
Birdwatching! And everything associated with it, including hiking, travel, nature photography, and branching out into a more general naturalist.
It's a silly thing to do, but is actually a great hobby. It gets you out of the house and exercising and meeting nice people, and you can be competitive with other birders if you want to, turn it into an art form with good nature photos, or just use it to mellow out and relieve stress. And if you develop some concern for the environment, that's also a plus.
1) Golf, but do I ever suck at it! My golf swing is so flawed, but there are times where I actually hit the ball well (and score well) and times where I feel like I'm swinging a parking meter (and don't score well). Last Friday, during my golf outing, I almost won the long-drive contest (one guy beat me...not too bad for a 54-year old, though!)...a few holes later, I hit my drive about 50 yards. It drives me nuts.
2) Actually, sports in general...although I don't watch the NFL, NBA, or MLB anymore. I do follow the collegiate levels and lower, though.
3) Guitars, but music in general. I love music!
4) I love to walk for about an hour. I live fairly close to one of the nicest Columbus Metro Parks and enjoy walking there whenever I can.
Growing weed from exotic places, fishing, reading, shooting and hopefully soon, boating.
shareGrowing it seems like a real p.i.t.a, especially since it is legal now and can be bought openly. Is it still illegal in your state/country?
shareFully legal. I enjoy growing it and can harvest more than enough where I don't have to spend money at the dispensaries. Then there's strain selection. Dispensaries only seem to have what's currently hot on the market and I like to grow landraces and old school strains. I've got AK47 and a Blueberry hybrid going right now.
