shareI remember him losing the title during his next fight and then he seemed to disappear from public view. There were stories that he slacked off with his training and got into a celebrity lifestyle after beating Tyson.
I'm curious about where he is now, though. I'm guessing he went through his money fairly quickly.

He settled for Chris Rock.
McBride isn't exactly a nobody as he was a professional boxer. I think he had like 50 professional fights, though was never a champion. He is a nobody in the world of professional boxing, but it takes a tremendous amount of skill and talent to even become a pro boxer.
