Favourite season
Winter.
I love getting under the blankets all snug.
Summer.
Grow some nice lush garden beds, set the mower deck to 4 inches and have a few icy brews as you cut, go for some hikes, a bit of fishing and backyard grilling, and jump in the pool to watch the sun set in the evening.
Spring and Fall are also pretty nice and offer their own wonderful charms but I truly dislike Winter.
I love working outside in my flower gardens, so late spring and summer are the best times of the year for me. Fall is beautiful here in Ohio, but like you, I hate what comes next. The holidays are great, but I absolutely hate January, February, and most of March. We simply have crappy, damp weather during those months.
shareI’ve only passed through Ohio, never stopped. Does your husband hunt? It’s considered a top tier Whitetail Deer state. Huge antlers on those Ohio Whitetails and man are they said to be big!
We are getting a lot of rain over here in New York, too much water gives you lots of vine and foliage but not enough vegetables! I’ve got six beds, pretty good square footage but the yield has been pretty light so far.
The lettuce beds and herb planters are kicking ass though, we’ll have plenty of herbs and salad.
No he doesn't, but my step-daughter's husband does. We like venison and he always gives some to us.
This summer has been much dryer than last year and it's been off and on with having to do supplemental watering. My roses were struggling, but are now doing better and I still have two hydrangeas that are lush and full, but no blooms. My nursery told me that last winter with that warm spell we had in December followed by the sub zero termps did a number on some plants. Maybe I'll have fall blooms - lol.
Yeah, that was a very weird winter. Some of the Roses died and My hydrangeas have a few blooms but they are mostly leaves and sticks.
Next year might be better for gardening, we gotta have faith👍
Spring. I wish we had a longer spring here in Reno. It pretty quickly feels like early summer. Spring in NYC is glorious.

In order, of favorite to least favorite:
Autumn/Fall - Wonderful. Progressively cooler days, crisp nights. Nice color.
Spring - Fall with pollen. Nice climate but you get that melencholy "sunday night feeling" you get as a kid knowing the school week begins anew in that the days are going to become progressively hotter.
Winter - Winters are relatively mild where I am with not a great deal ( if much of any ) of snow, and I like the bracing coolness. It does get certifiably cold ( well below freezing ) but I'm still outdoors getting things done. I can always put more clothing on.
Summer - Ugh. Oppressive heat and humidity. I work outside mostly, so on my free time I'm outdoors only when necessary, such as yard work and the like. I do NOT enjoy leisure time outdoor activities in the summer.
Fall. Brisk weather.
Not too hot nor cold. No pollen.
Winter because we have snow here. It covers all the filth.
shareUsed to LOVE Winter. But it's a bit extreme nowadays.
Som I'm gonna go with Autumn. I love cooler weather. My body can't handle or just doesn't like the heat, period..
