shareI'm from the U.S. First foreign country I visited is the Philippines in 1989 when I was only three.
shareEngland in my early 20s, never traveled as a kid so it was a big deal.
shareTo my knowledge, Austria. I was a baby and my mom told me I cried just about the whole flight from NY to Vienna. I think about that whenever I start to get annoyed at a baby crying.
shareFrance
shareJamaica in 1969. My relatives were relocated there by my uncle,s employer in the Bauxite mining business. They lived in this mountaintop town in a new subdivision of modern houses where it seemed most of the dwellers were foreigners, mostly the US and England. Back in the US we were in the process of moving to a different location and there was about a month period before we could occupy our house, we visited/lived with our relatives in Jamaica for about a month.
Was an interesting experience. I was also really glad to have over a month off without school too.
