Character that ruined a TV show / Movie
Jar jar binks.
shareShe Hulk.....she ruined the entire MCU...
shareNever even saw She Hulk. My work pal Danny and I love the superhero stuff, we constantly talk about DC and Marvel and he totally warned me away from this show. I guess it was pretty shit, eh? Danny don’t lie.
shareIt was really bad. It was almost a complete surreal, Campy comedy. It made the old 66 Batman TV show seem like a drama. 😂
It was so bad to me that I really have no desire to watch anymore MCU stuff. A 5 minute scene at the end of the last episode killed my desire for anymore MCU stuff..
Damn! I will avoid it.
shareHaha. Yeah. Some people thought of it as meta. 😏 The thing is I get what they were trying to do. A trick they did in the comics. (Which I never liked there as well) But film and tv is a different media. Ironman set a tone for the MCU. They were treating the material as a little more adult. Yes while we get some comedy stuff in things like Guardians of the Galaxy. You can't overdo it. She-Hulk over did it. I should also mention Thor Love and Thunder as well. I watched both around the same time and Thor was another nail in the MCU coffin for me. When they showed that Dumpling God, I was thinking this is f'ing stupid. The whole movie was one big joke.
I'm sure some comic fans won't mind as much, but general audiences who are comic book fans and never read any of the comics are gonna start to bail out.
Wow, glad I never tried it!
shareI hate most of the MCU shows but I thought SH was okay starting with episode 2.
shareI still enjoyed the show but I think My Family would have been better without the introduction of Abbey, Roger and Alfie.
shareMASH: Alan Alda, Larry Linville*
Little house on the Prairie: Dean Butler, Matthew Labyorteaux, Linwood Boomer
Superbad: Jonah Hill
* In defense of Larry Linville, I know he was playing the part assigned to him, it was just such a poorly written role. Nothing personal against the man himself.
I loved Alda and Linville. Sad the character pretty much ruined Linville’s career though.
shareAlda is such an arrogant ass who wrote for himself and turned many other great characters into props to support his ego.
Frank Burns was a suck character. I'm glad Larry had the sense to leave the show when he did.
Kathy Bates getting naked in About Schmidt. I’m still nauseous. 🤢
