Naples, FLA is a paradise.
My wife and I are seriously considering it. I’d prefer to maintain my home up here in the wooded hills of New York but she’d happily sell everything we have for a condo five minutes from the beach.
The Gulf Of Mexico must be one of the most beautiful places God or happenstance ever made! Those sunsets over the water man, so pretty you’d think you were dreaming.

shareI’ve wanted a small cabin in the woods for many years, somewhere to disappear to for a long weekend, light a campfire and relax. The Catskill Mountains still has affordable multi-acre properties available and the fishing and hunting are reputed to be quite good. There’s plenty of skiing as well but I’d probably break my neck, NO thanks.
My wife and kids want a beach area condo so I suppose I’ll never get that cabin I always wanted lol!

i used to say the southern coast of nova scotia. but they are on the front lines of climate change so maybe not.
