I have a very diverse work history, most jobs of which fall under the umbrella of blue collar labor. Some I have mentioned here over the years. Here's one I haven't until now. Did this gig at a state park one summer. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honeywagon_(vehicle) It was the embodiment of, "a shitty job but someone's gotta do it." I just had to be very cognizant of wind direction once I started the process. 😁
shareI've been a puppet, a pauper, a pirate, a poet, a pawn and a king
sharePart-time Santa Claus
shareGroundskeeper job for a couple summers in high school
And then some other higher profile stuff I've mentioned in the past that no one cares to pay attention to.
Can't help myself, any women here ever do stripping, phone sex etc?
shareAnd if any of the ladies out there happened to have been involved in these activities for fun and not in the occupational sense, feel free to speak up as well.
shareI worked with a woman a couple of years back who did phone sex. She didn't tell me about it but she told the other females in the office who then told me.
Grocery store
Gas station
Paint and wallpaper shop
Corner deli
Another stupid grocery store job
Butcher
Process server for a law firm
Landscaper/handyman
Furniture mover
Some illegal stuff I regret doing (weed sales might have been involved.)
Whatever bullshit I’m currently doing to pay for a mortgage, two vehicles and a family now.
It’s all a blur quite frankly.
Bills gotta get paid.
Was the gas station job back when they had full service?
shareWell, I pumped the gas and would clean the windshields, check the oil and so on. We did have a very good mechanic and a tow truck and a huge Wrecker but I’d have to call those guys.
Mostly it was just me running a gas station, the maniac who owned the place left a thirteen year old kid in charge of the entire operation. I didn’t even fully know how to drive LOL! The 80s were fucking crazy man😄
Dishwasher
Log splitter
Telephone sales
Printer
US Army soldier
Computer technician
Telephone systems installer
Delicatessen clerk
Call center customer service
Receptionist
Log splitter is unique and interesting. I once worked for a tree trimming service in my younger days, drove the cherry picker and performed various misc. duties. Sawdust constantly accumulating in the eyes was an occupational hazard and made it difficult to wind down with some television at the end of the day.
