Sports where Women aren't equal to men

MMA and Boxing would never have women fighting men.

reply

With a very few exceptions, women are not physically equal to men in most sports.

reply

Its odd that in sports where they are equal like snooker and pool and darts - they still dont compete with the men.

reply

I saw recently on the BBC there was a snooker tournament with mixed-pair doubles, but that was the first I've ever seen. It does seem strange that men and women don't normally compete against each other in those.

reply

I think pool might have the smallest divide between men and women, if you consider it a sport. But they still have men's and women's divisions.

It's insane and ridiculous to think that there are some people who think women have a right to compete in Men's sports. Women will never be on an equal playing field in baseball, basketball, football or hockey.

Good point.

During my running days I once ran a 10k race on the 4th of July. At the starting line, I couldn't help but notice a good looking, blonde, female runner standing just a few feet from me. After the start, I completely forgot about her until about halfway thru the race when I was suddenly startled to find her gradually passing me on my right. I actually still have a snapshot of that very moment where she was overtaking me. A friend had been following the race in his car taking pictures along the way. I've always thought it was an interesting coincidence that he happened to capture that image at that particular time. I never saw her again after that but it was apparent to me that she had finished in much better time than I had. The tenacious strength of her stride was almost palpable as she passed me.

I ENJOY YOUR STORIES...THEY REMIND ME OF MY DAD'S STORIES...BUT....I HAVE NOT HEARD YOUR STORIES 45 TIMES EACH.

Thanks; I'm glad someone does. A couple of longtime posters here have repeatedly tried to accuse me of lying when I have posted an anecdote. To that I say, tough shit if they can't handle the truth and are jealous attention whores. I once had a professional, successful, published author as a personal writing instructor who told me that my many work and travel experiences would be great material for writing. And besides, reminiscing about one's life experiences is very common for retirees, and writing about them is a great catharsis.

Did you have a boner in that snapshot ?
