Who's the most famous person you've met and what were they like
Boxer Ricky Hatton. Really down to earth bloke.

Probably Tony Blair. He was... very politician-y.
What would you consider meeting a person?
I crossed paths with a science fiction writer named Harlan Ellison at a hospital. He's not a household name, but some people here have probably heard of him. He's probably most well known in the world of TV and movies for writing one of the most popular Star Trek episodes, "The City on the Edge of Forever" and suing James Cameron for plagiarism on the Terminator.
Anyway, he was pretty notorious for ugly behavior over things that most people would consider minor rudeness at worst or just speaking a word to him when he wasn't in the mood for it. I decided to err on the side of caution. I could live without knowing whether a quick "Hello, I like your work," while waiting in a hospital was rude to to the great Ellison. LOL.
I think you did the right thing. Who needs to get into a negative exchange of words with a known grump? They do say ‘never meet your heroes.’
shareLawrence Taylor, an awesome outside linebacker for the New York Giants. He was doing a signing at a car dealership and the line was out the door.
He was not friendly. No banter, no eye contact with the fans. He was told all manner of things basically amounting to ‘New York loves you LT, you’re the best’ and it was like talking to a wall. A very large wall, the guy was huge!
He was deep into a bad addiction and was having legal troubles so I suppose he had reasons to be sullen.
I shared an elevator with Denver Broncos quarterback John Elway, a.k.a. "The Slow White Bronco"! Sorry, 90's joke there.
Anyway, he was busy having his ass kissed by some moneymen, so he didn't appreciate my fabulousness.
