Worst job you've had
Landscaping was back breaking work. Lasted 6 weeks.
shareSenior care. Nothing like changing large diapers and cleaning up liquid shit every other day off the floor.
shareWorked at a scrapyard summer of 1994. Came home everyday sweaty and covered in dust and metal shavings. Learned how to drive a forklift though...
shareConstruction site cleaner
shareWhen I was 16 or 17, I had a summer job in a chemical lab. After a few weeks there, I began to develop huge painful boils in uncomfortable places, and I was too young and stupid to realize that the job might be exposing me to something toxic. So I didn't tell anyone because I was embarrassed, and kept going back until the school year started.
And that, I presume, is why some employers like to hire gormless kids, they don't know enough to protest working conditions that are literally toxic.
Secretary for Lockheed Martin. They had nothing for me to do, so boring. I spent my days playing around in Excel and learning powerpoint.
shareThe last year and a half at Kroger, I was dealing with increased workloads due to budget cutbacks, I was getting treated poorly by my department manager more often, she was increasingly started giving me punishment tasks, started accusing me of incidents that I'm innocent of, made me sign forms that I could be subjected to termination for something I didn't even do which I've signed thinking I would get in trouble if I refused.
Oddly after I gave in my two weeks (I moved out of state to be closer to my family) this particular manager became nice to me.
I am a lot happier at my current job and seriously discourage anyone working at Kroger, sadly only a small handful of the employees who I worked with are still there.

Restaurant jobs. I had two right after high school. One was at a "casual dining" restaurant, the other was a fast-food place. Two of the worst jobs I ever had.
