What's your thoughts on shock jock Howard Stern
Do you still listen to his show?
shareI find such shows boring and I have never listened to a radio show from start to finish, and currently avoid them completely. But Stern has the ability to lower the guard of his mutest guests. That way he is gifted in a certain psychological fashion.
shareNever have.
shareI'm only subscribed to his Youtube channel, which posts clips of new and old interviews. Seems to still be a great interviewer but overall the show seems like a shell of it's former self.
I was addicted to watching his TV show on the E! Network back in the day, now THAT was entertaining.
Yeah, the E show days was great.
shareMy favorite Howard Stern things to watch on YouTube is when
1. Gilbert Gottfried was on
2. Eric the Midget was on
3. Richard Simmons was on
Hilarious stuff.
not since he became a made up character he invented in the beginning he was fun to listen to then he became a mean person who just made horrible comments
shareTotally amazing back in the 90s. Totally irrelevant now. I fooled around a little while with satellite radio but it wasn't worth the money. These days you can load every rock song ever recorded onto a flash drive and plug it into your stereo. I definitely enjoyed the channel that plays his greatest hits from back in the day. But I don't miss it. He's such an insufferable POS now it was pretty easy to let go. You know how something can jump the shark and it will retroactively make you hate all of it, even the stuff you used to like. That's pretty much what happened with Stern for me.
shareSome people say when he went to sirus or sometime after that he sold out
He is a wealthy man
I liked the show when eric the midgit was calling in all the time . I listend then a lot.
Im want to get back into once I land on my feet again. unfortunately he doesn't work a lot but I have h3 podcast to fall back on.
don't care that he grew up a little bit, he is still funny when he wants to be.
It does show your age though to talk about howard gracefully these days
Its cooler to just say you hate him
H3 podcast is cool now I guess
