I don't play the normal lottery but sometimes I'll buy tickets for "charity gambling" like kids sports teams and such. One time I won $500 dollars and I know that if someone didn't call me they could have easily have gotten away with pocketing the money for themself. I never look at the numbers. In this case I couldn't even locate the ticket that was sold to me.
I kind of get that especially people who may not play often. The ones I hate are the winners who have shitty jobs and are all "I won't quit my job cleaning toilets. This won't change me". They don't deserve the money and should have it taken from them.
