WORLD MIGRATORY BIRD DAY

which is officially celebrated on:
- the second Saturday of May in the USA & Canada
- the second Saturday of October in Mexico, Central & South America, and the Caribbean.

I did not know that, it seems there is a day for everything nowadays LOL!

You seem to appreciate nature and birds and such, I get that.
Me too.

The Audubon field guides are quite good.

I actually didn't know there was a bird day either. The microsoft tool bar on my laptop was showing a picture of some birds and I clicked on it and that's how I found it.

The bird with the longest migration is the Arctic Tern.

According to a 2023 planner I got from a dollar store, it was also Leprechaun Day.

And today (May 14th) is Dance Like A Chicken Day.
