Lemon Snapple Tea

I am a lover of Lemon Snapple, and always wanted to recreate the taste at home. 20 years ago I started making my own version, got pretty close, and have been refining it over the years. I have a recipe that is very close to Lemon Snapple (at least the closest I'm going to get without all the other additives).

So my fellow MovieChatters, I want to share my recipe with you, so you too can enjoy this delicious beverage.

Boil water and pour a little over 12 cups into a coffee pot. Use two tea bags (Lipton Black Tea). Let the tea steep for over an hour. Keep steeping until the water reaches exactly 12 cups (the water will reduce as it's being soaked up by the tea bags).

After an hour, measure out 71 ml of sugar. Stir the tea for 10 seconds and pour the sugar in. Keep stirring for 15 seconds.

Then measure out 69 ml of lemon juice. Stir and pour the lemon juice into the pot. Keep stirring for 15 seconds.

The tea is already good but it is still warm. It tastes great at room temperature and of course you can put it in the fridge if you like iced tea.

Try it, and enjoy.
