Korean film about a TV that shows one minute into the future.

I'm trying to use this board in the way I used to use IMDb's 'I Need to Know', which I miss greatly. I hope that's not inappropriate and I apologise if it is.

I think the film that I'm trying to find is Korean, that it does feature a TV rather than a monitor and that the predictive time is one minute. I don't want to embarass myself.

I remember that it was probably made within the last five years, low budget but very inventive on a small financial allowance. It featured a group of people who discover the TV and centred on a cafe and an apartment block. The television's properties are used in increasingly inventive and mind bending ways. The internal logic and complex timelines approach 'Primer' level head mashing but, like that film, it can be enjoyed without a full understanding of the technical details. It was more of a comedy with an edge to it and an ensemble piece with quite enchanting characters.

Any ideas or was it just a crazy dream?

Sounds like the Japanese film Beyond the Infinite Two Minutes (2020).

Yes that's the one! Thanks a lot Fred.

I had a feeling that I was misremembering something. So it's Japanese and the time is two minutes. I remember seeing it during a season of Korean films on some channel or other. That must be where the confusion over country of origin started. Clearly, it wasn't part of that showcase.

Thanks again.

This thread looks like a sad publicity stunt. I’m infuriated.

Now let me add this title to my Tubi list and will probably watch it next week…
