Wow, that looks incredibly intense! Just discovered it's also available on tubi, which I have.

As far as Marlee in that video, her dancing and perfect synchronization with Billy Joel really blew me away.

The whole movie is an intense treat, kind of like Matlin's dancing and sense of musical timing.

Although... to be fair, anyone who isn't able to keep up with Billy Joel is probably going to get run over by a car because "accidents" happen. ;-}

I JUST WATCHED A FLICK WITH HER AND JEFF DANIELS ARGUING OVER WETHER THEIR DEAF SON SHOULD RECEIVE AN IMPLANT TO MAYBE HEAR....EXCELLENT FILM.

AFTER A LITTLE RESEARCH THE FILM I JUST SAW HER IN WAS CALLED...SWEET NOTHING IN MY EAR....AND MY EARLY CRUSH WAS BASED ON 1993'S HEAR NO EVIL AND HER WORK ON THE SHOW PICKET FENCES. NOEMOJI

She is a really good sport too.

Anthony Jeselnik threw some pretty good deaf jokes at her during the Trump roast and she took them right on the chin and laughed.

I can't remember exactly, but one was like "I was actually surprised to find out you won an award for best actor, and not for something at the special olympics." and she cracked up at it.

In my personal experience, people with disabilities always have the best personalities and senses of humor. She seems to be no exception.
