Lox and bagels with cream cheese, sliced onion and capers!

I just ate a turkey with pesto on ciabatta with a Fiji water. It was great!

A lot of people on here say how much they hate social media and don't use it because it's all about posting selfies and pictures of what you ate etc. And yet, here we are, talking about what we eat LOL. There's always food posts on here. This website IS social media, whether it's liked or not, and whether it's believed or not. All the EXACT SAME stuff that gets posted on Facebook and Instagram and Twitter and the like get posted here as well. We are even able to post pictures of ourselves. And the same links to the same news articles that are posted on the other platforms are the exact same links that are posted here as well. The only difference between "us" and "them" is we're not able to see embedded images. We have to click on links in order to see the same exact images that you would see on all the other social media platforms. #Fact
and the problem is??

Just because I said it on your OP doesn't mean I'm talking about you. I'm talking about the people who think this site and what we do here is not Social Media. The topic of the post made me think of all the times that I've seen it said on here.
I agree with you 100%, April. I use Facebook primarily as a source of information, especially on a local level. I also belong to some entertainment, movie oriented groups that definitely outclass what I often see here.
shareI'm part of/admin some too. It definitely outclasses the most by not tolerating psychotic, degrading, harassing, and stalking b.s., that's for sure. Not that some of that doesn't squeak by. But for the most part, it gets dealt with. 👍👍

shareIt's true! Although during heat waves I want cold foods that contain hot spice, like a good ceviche. There's a local tacqueria that makes the best tostadas de ceviche, and killer flan.
But really, the best heatwave food is... takeout. Nobody wants to cook during a heat wave unless they get paid for it.
