Texas Gunman May Have Snapped

It didn't start at the school.

It started at the home he shared with grandma.

Apparently a dispute with his grandmother over his phone bill led to him shooting her in the head.

I'm guessing he had fantasies of carrying out a mass shooting in the past; that's why he bought the expensive guns in the first place.

But I'm not sure that he woke up that morning and decided to go to the school and carry out the massacre.

I think that came after shooting the grandma.

He texted a girl in Germany after telling her she shot grandma: 'Ima go shoot up a elementary school rn.'

I think he felt that he was going to go to jail for life for what he had done, and so he might as well go out in an evil blaze of glory.

He stole her vehicle, which he couldn't even drive, and drove to the school and crashed it.

From there he ran towards the school, and some dumb ass teacher had propped the door open, allowing him to get in. From there, it was a bloodbath.

But it makes me wonder: if grandma hadn't run off her mouth at him that morning, he probably wouldn't have shot her, and he probably wouldn't have carried out the massacre.

At least not that day.

And who knows, with the passage of time he might have grown out of his mass murder fantasy and the whole thing might never have occured.

Thoughts!?

I think we need to stop using the word "snapped" for a psychotic descent into ultimate evil. It trivializes and normalizes the worst things humans can do.
