What good reason can you give that the manager on duty at this McDonald's should not be fired?

If you actually worked a minimum wage job, then you'd understand that liberal feelings don't change that once that clock hits 10:00 you are out of there. This has nothing to do with firefighters, it has to do with the shop being near closing time and a large order was going to be placed right before everyone left for home, forcing everyone to stay for unpaid overtime. And it's not like people who place large orders actually tip for the service they receive... no it's all entitlement bs.
shareIs it a spoof? It looks like a spoof. It's just hard to tell these days but it reminds me of Harris K Telemacher (LA Story).
shareSince these were firefighters I would have given them a break.
Had they not been firefighters or first responders it would have been a different story. It should be common courtesy to:
• Not place an order five minutes before a restaurant is due to close.
• Not use the drive-through if you have a large order. Go inside and order your food.
• Not pound on the windows or rattle the doors if you arrive after closing time. If a restaurant closes at 10:00 pm and you arrive at 10:01 you are out of luck. Find another place to eat at or, better yet, plan ahead next time. Stop buying on impulse.
MuckDonald's is garbage food, so these firefighters aren't missing anything.

I'll still get food from there sometimes, but far less often than I used to. The local McD's used to have great French fries. Now, you get tough, dried out things that have sat under the warmer for over an hour. The quality of their other food isn't that great, and they frequently get orders wrong. The last time I went I ordered a quarter pounder and a chocolate shake. I got a vanilla shake and the burger was barely warm.
Also, during the height of the pandemic their precautions were less than they should have been. The worst offender around here was Arby's. Taco Bell and Burger King did the best job of protecting their customers. At McDonald's things were inconsistent; employees seemed to take precautions or not depending on their own individual preferences.
They are notorious for incorrect orders. This goes back decades to when I was a kid. My family would order five cheeseburgers and when you opened the bag there would be only four. This happened multiple times at different locations over many years, so it was more than just a coincidence. One time we even got a "cheeseburger" without the patty, just a bun filled with ketchup.
It's been years since I've eaten at McGarbage, and I refuse to do business with them. They rake in billions while treating their employees like dirt, and they serve their customers slop. There's a local family-owned burger place near me that is much more deserving of my patronage.
