If the political horse shit was just kept on the Politics Board where it belongs we'd have smooth sailing...Some folks just can't behave themselves
I have to be honest - I give as good as I get and needle some of the posters but I don't get why they just don't get rid of all of it.

Want to talk about them as movies, fine. Want to post videos from porn websites, that's something else. Similarly, if you want to talk about political movies, as movies, that's fine, but posting 800 million threads about Donald Trump or Joe Biden here is something else. What's so complicated about this?

shareI’ve been here from the beginning. The quality of dialogue and thought has deteriorated dramatically, especially outside of the General Discussion. Good posters are leaving. Undesirables pitch a camp here. As I’ve said before, the toxins from the Politics section seep into all others areas of the site. MovieChat needs to delete the Politics section. It is the steaming dung heap that brings the flies to the site. It does not belong on an Entertainment website.
Politics is not part of the Entertainment Industry. Neither are snuff films, dog fights, cock fights, train wrecks, serial killers or torture—even though they all entertain certain twisted people. Entertainment makes its audience happy and relaxed. It brings out the best in its audience, no matter how briefly. Political AND religious discussion, PARTICULARLY in an environment as sadly un-regulated as MC, which unfortunately has developed a culture of bombast, immaturity, vitriol and attempted bullying—those discussions have no place here.
And, not for nothing, my Faith is the most important thing in my life.
Please delete Politics.
Political discussion is not permitted on the General Discussion board and we enforce that rule.
We also have a rule against trolling, which is what this has devolved into.
