I saw a UAP yesterday (unidentified aerial phenomenon)

I was at the beach at sunset and thought I saw a helium balloon lifting off. It looked like a balloon with a string hanging down.

But then it looked like at the end of the string something else was hanging off.

I actually wondered whether it was a Kite surfer who got airborne!

But then I started to get a sense of the scale. This thing was big whatever it was. It was no balloon.

Then the object confirmed that it was an aircraft as it stopped floating up and out to sea...it stopped.

It hovered about and moved about at the same altitude for awhile.

It was about a kilometre out to sea.

So then I'm staring at it thinking it's a drone and wondering why it had a long rope attached to it with something at the end.

I snapped a photo but it's dark. It does show two different dark shapes.

I eventually lost track of it.

I wonder what it was?
