Best movies, with the best story 2015 - 2020? Need recomendations.

Name some I haven't seen. I dislike crash bangs, I dislike violence, I dislike comic book movies. I like movies with story, about travel, adventure, any good Sundance or Bamff films?

Some of my favorites have been Ben Stiller's Walter Mitty, Motorcycle Diaries, The Beach, Seven Years in Tibet and In the Footsteps of Marco Polo.

Can be fictional or documentary style.

these are my favourite films of 2019, leaving out the avengers & obvious things like parasite & once upon a time in hollywood.

Saw Peanut Butter Falcon. Ok.

one cut of the dead:
Things go badly for a hack director and film crew shooting a low budget zombie movie in an abandoned WWII Japanese facility, when they are attacked by real zombies.
I like the synopsis of this. Funny. I mean doesn't that just figure?
But again no violence or any of that BS. Just want to lose myself in a betterness for a couple hours.

did i have a stroke, or did this thread originally ask for 2019 movies?

one cut... is horror comedy. it has violence in it, but it's very silly, lighthearted violence. i absolutely love it.

You're good at this. The only one I saw was World of Tomorrow. Will have to check the synopses on the rest.

Oh I also love quirky indies like Safety not Guaranteed and that other one with that guy who played in that on an island and he only has a bike.
