Name one tv show and one movie you put off watching for years

I didn't see Watchmen when it first came out. All my friends kept asking me what I thought about it assuming I had seen it.Don't ask me why. I just never made the time to see it. A few years later I'm at Wal-Mart and the DVD is in the $5.00 rack. I picked it up. It wasn't great but I wasn't disappointed.

Big Bang Theory was another I didn't get into until year 4. I was at my dad's and he had DVR'd every episode in reruns. Sat down to watch with him and have been watching it ever since.

Film: Gone With The Wind (1939) - I saw it a few months ago.

TV: The Office UK (2001) - Again, I saw it a few months ago.

Star Wars

It was on in theaters when I was a kid but it didn't come to our small town. At the time I didn't care that much but I would definitely have watched it if it came to town.
Finally, 8 or 10 years ago I watched it. It was OK not great. The second one was much better.

Movies:
City of God (2002) - got too much praise and I never felt in the right mood or in the best possible situation to fully appreciate it.
Law Abiding Citizen (2009) - it was a recommendation by a friend and my refusal to watch it became an inside joke.... until we watched it together a few years ago.

Series:
Battlestar Galactica (2004) - I've seen the 80's series back in then and I know that the new show is of a very different quality. Anyway, it somehow keeps me from starting the critically acclaimed series.
