And Strother Martin is another fantastic character actor. Funny as heck and smarter than his characters would lead you to believe.
I want to add Agnes Moorehead to the list. Not pretty but a consummate actress.
There are a lot of character actors I appreciate so it’s hard to choose. Will have to think about it.
In the meantime I would like to share this YouTube channel, it used to be called No Small Parts. You might know it from the IMDb.
The guy who made these sold the name rights to them, so now he uses the other name - The Back Focus. There are really good insights in to some of the well known character actors who you might know only by face and not the name.
Only it’s a shame he didn’t produce anything new in two years, but I think he still does new stuff on the IMDb under the No Small Parts (but for the well known actors I noticed).
