So sad that Halloween happened to fall during a full moon and on a Saturday in the middle of this incredibly annoying pandemic. How are people going to celebrate? I am making a pumpkin soup in the crockpot and some chocolate vegan muffins. My husband and I are also watching scary movies. :)

I took my grandson to King's Island two weeks ago - they had a special Covid "safe" Halloween event. It was a blast and tonight I'm going to watch the kids Trick or Treat at my son's house.

the weather is nice here so we would have gotten around 30 kids or so. i am not expecting to see that many. i think most people with kids will stay home this year. i have plenty of miniature candy bars to last for months.
shareI'm setting up a decorated table at the end of the driveway and leaving bowls of candy bags...I'm sure the first sneaky little shit will take all of the candy LOL but that's what all the neighbors have agreed to do😄...When I was 12 I would have taken all of it too!

shareHalloween was last night for us down here in Australia and as usual it went by without a single knock on the door. That’s not COVID related, it’s just that trick or treating has never really caught on down here.
There were several Halloween themed movies on TV though. I visited my mum, made her dinner and we watched Young Frankenstein, which amazingly neither of us had seen before. Lots of laughs so it was a great night for me.
