Anyone else see entirely too much complaining and overanalyzing when it comes to "woke" elements on the screen? If you're deliberately seeking it , you'll find it (or imagine it) in every friggin show and movie. Why not read or go for a walk? Not everything has a political agenda. And even if it does, just don't watch if it irks you. Because you're irking me. Have a good night all.

Because Hollywood has only just started releasing films with progressive ideals, didn’t you know?
Of course Hollywood has always pushed agendas but it seems they are at the peak of their craft currently. Please correct me if I’m interpreting this in the wrong way.
The OP suggested that people not tune in to these films if the political agenda is troublesome. I’m suggesting that there are a large amount of films from different eras, many not produced in Hollywood, that one could watch that don’t incorporate the dreaded wokeness.
Hopefully there'll be a time Hollywood will look back at this age of wokeness with some embarrassment.

Many of the people complaining about "woke" elements are disinfo trolls. One of their aims is to latch onto any IP that has female, blacks or gays and use that to spread supremacist and Alt Right memes like "get woke, go broke."
And a surprising number of those disinfo trolls are foreign nationals, too. I knew something was suspicious when they started attacking the new spate of Star Wars and Star Trek movies and TV shows as "forced diversity" and when these IPs have had 40+ years of multiracial casts and prominent characters in them.
Tbh, I admit I do find the push of fake-woke agenda films to be irksome. Example, films that promote feminism just because they feature a cast of women, even though the film has no other feminist elements. But at the same time, I grew up watching movies and tv shows where diverse casts and feminist story-lines were commonplace, so I don't even really understand some of the complaints about woke films or woke elements on screen.
