Already meat places have slowed production because of the social distant needs. This is the only alternative to restore supply.

shareWhat is the purpose of this? Bug meat is disgusting. I think the established meat industry lobby is pushing bug meat instead of legit lab grown animal meat so that people do not buy cultured or lab grown meat in the future, to shift their perception permanently as to feel disgust whenever anything 'lab grown' is mentioned. It's a conspiracy.

Crabs and lobsters are, as the late George Carlin pointed out, "just big insects". Ever see a photo of a live shrimp? I don't like the prospect of eating bugs, either, I'm just sayin'... Sufficiently processed, the gross-out factor is tremendously diminished.
