Its been 6 weeks now since I've had any type of soda or fast food.


And I feel great! The first week was hard with sugar cravings but I don't have that anymore. Lost 8 pounds so far (and counting) with no exercise (gyms are all closed). I've drastically reduced my sugar intake. The only liquid I drink is water. The only sugar I get are from natural sources (fruits, etc). I do have pre-diabetes and am determined not to become a type 2 diabetic.

It's amazing how rampant type 2 diabetes is.

My favourite was vanilla Coke . I don't even crave it anymore.

I’m on the Wild Cherry Pepsi team myself. I don’t drink much pop either, but it sure goes good with pizza!

Thats great! It's amazing when you walk into a grocery store and about 95% of the stuff there is total crap. And many people think it's healthy food. I.e. alot of people think fruit juice is healthy but it's not.

It's the sugar that's driving this obesity crisis. There needs to be better education in place.

Cereal is another thing. Many are advertised as being full of natural ingredients, fibre, vitamins and minerals, but when you check the back you see it's 25% sugar. Evil stuff.

Yes! Breakfast cereals were the worst. Not healthy at all.

I'd argue that sugar is worst than alcohol and cigarettes.

The only advantage to breakfast cereals over some other junk foods like twinkies and such is that cereals are fortified with some vitamins. So at least you’ll get a few nutrients into your system as you become a disgusting fat slob.

8 pounds thus far and counting. And that is without any type of exercise. Just by cutting back greatly on added sugar.

Great! I lost 24 a few months ago by restricting calories, but since I wasn't getting protein a lot of my hair fell out in the front

It's grown back but now I've gained some back and want to lose 10

I’d say good job on cutting out some bullshit and the weight loss but that would make me fatphobic. You should probably gain it back. #healthyatanysize

modern. Can cook junk food and sweets at home! I'm gaining weight!

What I'm not eating is meat, I'm just too disgusted with the way the workers in the processing plants are being treated. Vegetarianism for me!
