Post a Travel Clip from where you live.

This guy does a pretty good tour of Tucson. At the end he shows you Old Tucson Studios where many of the old westerns where filmed., as well as Three Amigos.

Gladstone its self is an industrial town .... all sorts of industrial production plants everywhere around the area.... a deep harbour for exports. surrounded by beautiful places. The go is to get right out and away from the pollution of the industrial hub.

Closest I’ve been to there was Brisbane last August.

reply

Thats pretty close! I imagine you would have enjoyed yourself. Brisbane is a nice little city.

reply

Yeah, we spent three weeks down under. We hired a car and worked our way round the coast; Brisbane, Gold Coast, Byron Bay, Coffs Harbour, Port Macquarie, Newcastle, Sydney. Loved every minute. We’ll definitely come back and have a look at a different part.

reply

Oh I love the East coast. The entire coast I love, and inland. All of the land. And the islands. Really I need to get out more.

reply

Have you ever been to Townsville? I used to have a sort of online penpal from Townsville.

reply

I have.

reply

Here's a tour of where I grew up from 2-17. Manhattan Beach , Calif. Hopefully some of the Calif people will post their cities.

reply

What a great beach! Why did you move to Arizona?

reply

I wanted to see the seasons, so I left CA to go to college in Massachusetts, but it turned out to be too cold for me. My Grandma was living in Tucson and I'd visited her a lot, and really liked it here.

reply

So do you plan to move back one day?

Massachusetts looks very lovely as well. I'd love to see it in autumn.

reply

No California is too busy. I think even the Californians on this page would tell you its a lot of traffic, and very expensive. If you have a million dollars and can afford to live in one of the smaller quieter towns, that would be good. I like Tucson, it has lots of restaurants, its quiet, no traffic. I wasn't really a beach person even when I lived in CA.
For most people who live in Tucson it comes down to the weather. We don't like the cold weather. Everyone here puts on their jacket in December when it hits 60 degrees. They turn on the heat lamps for outdoor dining here when it drops below 70:)

reply

Hey, home is where the heart is! If you like the place, then good for you.

As soon as it's 60 degrees here, everyone walks around in shorts and t-shirts.🤷‍♀️

reply

Around here, the shorts come out at 50 degrees, but to be fair, that's after winter lifts. Well, we have a few macho fools who go around in shorts during the winter. 🙄

reply

Ugh!😑 I haven't even gone out without a jacket yet!🤷‍♀️

reply

We're headed to 75 degrees tomorrow! 💃

reply

Over 78 degrees next week, tomorrow...55 degrees.🥶

reply

forecast this week. 90, 93, 96, 100, 101 next Monday.

reply

Yikes!🥵

reply

Believe it or not the dry heat isn't as bad. Humidity here is around 4-9% so its feels like 85ish.

reply

Probably, but I'm just no good with high temperatures and bright sunlight. It tends to worsen my headaches.

reply

Sorry to hear that. We're just getting through a string of days in the 50s, overcast, and off-and-on rain showers. More rain expected tonight, but then the trend is 70s, a few 60s, and possibly 80s next week!

I realized today that it's not as though our weather has been terrible - it just hasn't been very nice this spring.

reply

The weather has actually been okay this spring, this week just seems to be more cold than usual for some reason. Ah well, it's not like there's a lot to do outside.🤷‍♀️

reply

We were about 10 miles up the road about 4 years ago on part of our holiday (Venice Beach). Nice part of the world.

Travel videos featuring Reno are going to focus on Lake Tahoe, which is less than an hour away by car. It's a phenomenal place, absolutely gorgeous, with skiing in winter and boating in the summer.

Reno itself:

Casinos
The Great Reno Balloon Race
Reno Air Races
Hot August Nights
Street Vibrations
National Automobile Museum
