Are you optimistic or pessimistic about the country ever opening again? How Do You feel? I don't think it's ever gonna happen
shareI think it's going to happen, too soon. The virus will spread slowly through less populated areas, so slowly that it won't be treated as the crisis it is.

Anyway the world will be back to normal before long. If life got back to normal after the Black Death, life will get back to normal after Covid-19.
Historically, no virus was ever conquered by lock down.
I'm optimistic about the reopening. People want it. People will revolt before they let medical technocrats tell them to lose everything slowly over time. I am pessimistic about the continued drum beat of doom from those with no careers at stake.

A plague its like a bad trip you just got to wait it out if you get to be a survivor. I'm still taking keeping my distance and sanitising my hands after dealing with people and money serious. Although, I notice people are just relaxing a bit now. I guess that is felt as well deserved to be able to relax. I'm not buyin it.

We're about to go off lock down in some places in Aus for a while... will be interesting to see how long that lasts for...
I wouldn't count on it staying open while there is no Vax. Same for you even if rates do drop and they open back up.
Well before I had the coronavirus I was a cowering supporter of the lockdown. But now I've had it I've undergone a complete personality change and have become a fearless advocate for lifting the lockdown !
Optimistic. We will get through this. There will probably be a new "normal" though.
