What do you do when you're living a lie?

How do you face the truth of the reality of the inevitables for instance you may think a gun is good to have until it comes to being confronted with one or actually having used one. the blood, the pain, the death, them or you so the thought of having a gun is great but the reality is not.

how do you face your truths?

reply

What about potato guns?

reply

i could do that.

reply

You move a lot.

reply

do i? I actually do do that. how do you know? i haven't moved in some time, well i have, just not far

reply

I know all things.

reply

so it seems Laura

reply

Canada is about to ban all assault weapons.

reply

I find this strange because any "assault rifle" in Canada already has a 5 round capacity limit by law, so why aren't semi-auto hunting rifles being banned? They are exactly the same thing, except one looks more scary. Further, the guns used in that massacre were obtained illegally, so this law would now have prevented it.

reply

i think the semi-auto guns are banned also

reply

Lots of semi auto hunting rifles aren't listed there. Here is an example of what I'm talking about.

reply

You're right they didn't seem to ban all semi-auto weapons which is causing confusion. They should have followed the Australian model and banned them all.

reply

Canada has a strong hunting culture and it brings in millions of dollars in revenue. No one in your country is talking about banning these types of firearms. Trudeau himself even acknowledges this.

reply

well you can't carry a sword why carry a gun? swords are where its at, we got lost its all boring guns now

reply

Uh-hunh. You just try openly carrying a sword down a busy city street.
Hang on, I'm getting popcorn.

reply

I ENJOY GUNS AND SWORDS...BOTH ARE EQUALLY BADASS...EXTRA POINTS FOR USING THEM IN UNISON.

reply

true! haha

reply

Guns don't kill people, threads about guns kill people

with boredom.

I do suspect you're addressing a wider issue though and you are right, intention and reality often differ. For instance, I bought a guitar with the intention of being the next Bruce Springsteen but the reality left no one with a hungry heart.

reply

threads about guns don't kill people, beliefs about threads about guns killing people kills people. or not. who fucking cares. i'm saying i was delusional that i thought i could have a gun. i live in Australia. so its a delusion to think what you would be like with a gun to a degree, if you actually think that you can carry a hand gun you can't unless your a coppa so anyway all good i'm just having a joke with you. is it a touchy subject..?

hahahaha what the music didn't taste good for the heart? keep playing... who cares about what hateful hearts think....

reply

oh kill people with boredom. ha ha very funny. i didn't even read that.

reply

To answer the actual question, I guess you face your truths the best way you know how. Experience is the only way to face anything and, the less experience you have, the worse off you are at it. It's why most kids don't face them - they pretend things are fine - and that becomes a bad habit people often carry into their adulthood.

All I can say is, you're gonna have a lot of regrets in life. You just have to live and learn. I know that's basic, but it's the only thing anyone can do.

reply

oh true karmic wheel of life never stops it just keeps going, like life it is eternal guess your best to just accept that.
