Which mystery of the world would you most like to know?

I'm torn between knowing the truth about 9/11 and how the pyramids were built. I'll probably choose pyramids.

Other honorable mentions.

The full story of the JFK assassination.
Rosewell.

What inspired unicorns and dragons.

reply

unicorns and dragons obviously.

reply

One can only hope that's the truth

reply

A world filled with unicorns is always preferred.😊

reply

Who was the person who made cheese the first time in the human history.

reply

The first cheese was made thousands of years ago when someone put milk in an animal's stomach so they could carry the milk with them. Then the enzymes in the stomach curdled the milk and the result was cheese.

reply

Yes but that is still "someone". I do not know still who he/she was. But it does not matter ;-)

More interesting would be to know, e.g.,how was the coexistence between the Neanderthal und the Sapiens in Europe

reply

I'll go with Roswell. That answer could change the world as we know it.

reply

What happens to us when we die.

reply

That's the best one yet.

The Dyatlov Pass Incident.

reply

I think the most recent investigation pretty much explains it.

reply

I've always leaned towards the infrasound theory. Whatever happened, something caused them to panic to the point where they cut a hole in their tent and fled, leaving their gear and clothing behind.

reply

The findings of the report are in the article and I think it makes the most sense of all the offered explanations. The group was not very experienced and panicked because of a snow slide blocking the entrance of the tent.

reply

Actually they were all very experienced with hiking in the cold weather, which is what makes this so strange. They abandoned all common sense and left their tent in a blind panic. The book "Dead Mountain" goes into pretty good detail about the incident.

reply

They were experienced hikers, but the investigators concluded that the leader of the group, let alone most of the other students, was NOT experienced with camping under such harsh conditions and chose a dangerous camping site. Young students overestimating themselves, it's not uncommon.

did d.b. cooper survive??

reply

Of course not! I just want to know who he is!

reply

you can't assume he didn't survive.

reply

Yes, I can. If the money didn't land safely, neither did he. Many experts, including the FBI, have explained that he was an amateur who wouldn't have survived the jump. I absolutely agree with them.

reply

zero evidence.

reply

Zero evidence he survived! The recovered money is definitely not a good sign.

Even if he survived the fall, he was alone in the cold, dark and wet wilderness, how do you think he got out alive???

reply

zero evidence one way or another. only a small portion of the money was recovered.

reply

And? What was the money even doing there if he got away?

Occam's razor, Mitch! You need to read why the FBI thinks he didn't survive. He was an amateur!

reply

The FBI was still looking for the guy up until 2016. They weren't convinced of anything.

reply

They couldn't just call it quits when his body and the money hadn't been found and he technically could still have been alive. Most at the FBI are skeptical about him surviving.

Man, you REALLY want him to have gotten away with it!😆

reply

We know how the pyramids were built, by 5,000 hired workers over the course of several years.
