I was walking tonight and BANG right out of the twilight, the fading sunset, these satellites popped out of the NW sky. They kept coming. Seriously, one after another after another after another. Came from the NW sky to the right of Venus and went straight ahead to the SE. Never seen such a sight. Perfect choreography to say the least. It was a perfect straight path. Satellite after satellite after satellite............ Unless it was military planes, but planes blink...... This sight was brilliant for me.
Anyone know about this? I'm not in tune with satellites. Seriously, it was one after another from the fading twilight to the southern side, with becomes hazy due to town lights.

Um....satellites don't behave like that. In fact, they're very hard to see in the night sky. You need to have sharp eyes to even notice them. They resemble very faint, moving stars that don't twinkle, and don't give off a lot of light. I think what you just saw was a meteor shower.

Yes, satellites are hard or impossible to see in cities but easy to see in areas of low light pollution.

I lived for a long time in a highly populated area with lots of streetlights and I could still see them

I'm in the country now and it's easier to spot them
It's pretty cool to watch them sailing by

I've seen them just after dusk lots of times
I think the setting sun reveals them if you lay on the grass and really pay attention to the night sky

Yeah, they come after twilight or before dawn. I put my hands up around my face to inhibit light sources.
It's cool to see.
There is a site I found that has the schedule to see all satellites in the sky. It's pretty much spot on.

Um......... You are wrong. What I described was ABSOLUTELY correct and not even close to a meteor shower.
It is Starlink. Look it up.
I've done more research and found out it is pretty easy to spot satellites. Not HARD at all.
There is actually many sites that list the time of night, early morning to view such objects.

I remember when I was I kid and Telstar was launched. It was such a big deal - we were told where we could find it in the night sky and several times we were able to see it.

There was even a song written about it in 1962.

I don't know what the NW-SE satellites might be but in this 360 video at 1:40 the ones coming from south are mostly mapping, recon and some weather satellites in polar orbits. Tilt the view up to see more sky. The initial view is south.

I found out about my sighting. It was Starlink. They are positioning for global internet access among other things. What I described was spot on. Although they do travel in different patterns. They are called "night trains". It's made the news around the globe by now.
It's quit a sight, especially if you see it at new launch, they are closer together and brighter for the eye to see.

I saw your link and Starlink satellites are a different breed of satellite. They are clustered or a train of many.

Not even and I am correct in that they were ALL satellites. It's called Starlink.

That was the Zorpulon invasion fleet! They’re hitting us now that we’re already in turmoil from this space flu they sent down a couple months ago to soften us up.

Yes. The first one was named Sputnik. It was launched by the CCCP on Oct 4, 1957.
