What’s a scene from a comedy that had you laughing the longest continuously?

I’m 33, but I won’t forget the movie scene that me laughing hysterically for at least 10 minutes. It was as soon as a year ago which blows my mind. Nothing else has made me laugh that hard and long in my 30’s.

Anyway, it was in the movie Birdcage with Robin Williams when Albert unexpectedly arrives to the dinner party dressed as an old woman to play “the mom”. Hopefully enough people reading this know what I am talking about. https://100001.onl/ https://1921681254.mx/ https://acc.onl/hotmail

I have never laughed so hard in my life as watching Jim Carey's Rhino Birth scene.

That was a good one! What made the whole thing work was the family of all age groups watching and their reactions.

Reminds me of me dear old Mum so many years ago. She loved musicals and hated the Three Stooges, but somehow we rented the movie Airplane when it was popular, and she was laughing more than I'd ever seen her before.
Not that she was stern, that was hardly the case, but I never saw her have a taste for comedy.

Glad you brought up this scene in The Birdcage. Had the same exact experience.

This is the last movie I saw where the laughter was so continuous in many scenes throughout movie that I clearly missed a lot of the dialog that followed. Granted it was a packed house, but I will never forget that. This seemed more common with the more popular comedies of the late 70s and early 80s, less so today.

The first time I saw blues brothers - in the car chase at the end and the car jumps the gap in the road ..... then free falls from 10000 feet 😂 it was just so unexpected. I was crying watching that.

The disco scene from "Airplane".

MAYONEGG (Jason Bateman's facial expression. I have a screenshot of it, if I'd ever feel sad.)

The campfire scene in Blazing Saddles. I was 12 and laughed like a maniac for half an hour. It still cracks me up. I'm with moonglum - I'm a freaking caveman.
