I'm already doing my dream jobs... my only aspiration is to do them more easily/faster, and do better than break even financially doing them.
It was just a stupid dream of an 11 year old girl. I don't see your list?
shareLittle bit of a blurb... going to try to keep it short:
The thing about the concept of the dream job is that we don't just want to do the thing, we want to be the idealized rock star version of whatever it is.
I'm an artist. It's what I have been my whole life, and I've always had lots of different interests within the arts. At this point I've done and/or am doing all of those things that I've ever wanted to—from fine art, to graphic design, to illustration, video editing, animation, filmmaking, music and beyond—some of which I make or have made a living doing at one time or another, and some that I do out of pure inspiration, and funnel earnings into. On the whole I enjoy any given one of those pursuits tremendously, and the whole circus juggling act works out to a kind of equilibrium.
When it comes to being any kind of artist, the dream job idealization is always going to entail doing the cool shit 100% of the time without any hassle. The reality for the vast majority of professional artists of any kind, whether musicians, filmmakers, designers, photographers, or whatever, is that you will have to spend some amount of your time hustling and doing stuff that sucks to get to the good shit, and take the boring with the awesome. I think the same could apply to almost any dream job. Sometimes corporate stuff is cool and fun as hell. Sometimes it blows. The same can be said for smaller, more personal gigs. Sometimes creative work done out of inspiration flows and is the best thing in the world and sometimes it is a struggle or worse.
All in all I'm doing my dream work right now. I just want to do more of the good shit more of the time!
Well I just got told off by the guy who said he didn't like my coroner comments so I guess I crossed some kind of line?
shareUh oh lol... I didn't see that yet, on pg.1?
shareHe said even his mother doesn't talk to him like that. I was like, what? All I said Forest ranger and Serial Killer do mesh. So I ignored him.
shareI didn't like you comparing me to a serial killer. It's probably just a big misunderstanding. Look, let's just forget this whole thing happened. Shake hands?

Ruh roh piskettios... internet misunderstanding maybe? It's been known to happen...
shareOh Is that supposed to confuse me.. I'll have you know I've only had 4 glasses of wine tonight and can fully tell whats going on:)
shareHaha... I don't know, I admit I myself have no idea what's going on. However, it looks like twinA tried to reply to you. If you have them on ignore you probably can't see it. Not to get in the middle of anything but if it's cool with you here's their message:

I just don't like confrontational people. I'm here to have fun. If someone doesn't want to talk to me I'm cool with that.
shareThat's not what I said. I gave you an explanation. If you have any class, you will apologize.
