Do you think you're dependent on MC

Only in the sense that it's become a handy reference tool for movie information. When I become interested in a film, I'll go to its board to determine whether it's worth pursuing. Afterward, I'll read the various comments. That's become especially useful if I have questions or something was just unclear to me. No longer being able to indulge in that routine would be frustrating for awhile if it became unavailable as an option.

No. I wasn't dependent on IMDb and Moviechat is tiny by comparison. But I would be annoyed if it disappeared as well.

I could do without GD, but not without the message boards which I check out after every movie or tv show. That's what I missed most about IMDb.

MC is cool, but I was here in the beginning and really hoped it would be busier by now than it is. It doesn't seem like many more people have found it than were here right after the IMDB boards shut down.

I like MC, but imo, MovieForums is a decent alternative (despite much less activity).
