I can't find this movie on google, help

Only reason I thought of this movie is because ShogunYonk, put out a question of best chase scenes, get your motor revin.

I saw an old movie made about stunt men. Had to b elate '30's or early 40's. I don't think it was 40's though. Anyway, It obviously a movie about stunt men. I can't find it. Help me out. He is a stunt man that says he'll never fall in love... Obviously he does. Becomes cautious and bad things happen, quits the game.. his wife gets pregnant, with complications then he's got to make money to pay the doctor...... and then he volunteers to do a stunt that every other stunt man refuses to do, I shit you NOT, it's to go down the falls in a barrel.... .............. AND THEN we get to where it is why I thought of this movie as a CHASE movie. There is a chase scene between our hero and his friend being chased by two motor cops... It has a great/fantastic off the cliff crash AND THIS WAS FILMED IN 1930 something. True STUNT MAN shit. Alas I cannot find it and I ain't gonna try until I see another post that triggers my old mind....

However I will add that that scene just triggered another "chase?" it's a chase to stop a wedding.. I have no idea how to use spoiler alert right now.... So in the movie "We're in the Money" they have a chase scene to stop a wedding... And the freaking ROOF gets taken off the car. Talk about hitting your spot as a stunt man. CGI sucks compared to the good old stuff.

Enjoy and smile

if anyone knows the name of the movie I spoke of I'm all ears.

I thought it was called Stunt Man Or Stunt Men.

Not a series, right? The Fall Guy?

Or, "The Stunt Man" ( 1980) https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0081568/?ref_=kw_li_tt

No it's a movie had to be late 30's my guess. The movie was in the 80 minute range. I pretty much gave up everything in it. He's a stunt man goes to the same bar all stunt men go to. They even have a scene where they toast a lost comrade that "Only Angels Has Wings " has, a toast but not name names type of thing.... It had some excellent stunts in it, any person of wanting to see early movie stunts it's a must see... guys were going down rapids in canoes... It wasn't great but gave a great look on how they did stunts.
