Name of movie that aired on AMC

I have only seen the first few minutes of this movie. It aired on AMC. The movie has to be older than 2000 but I remember seeing it in 2004ish. The intro is a narration from a younger guy in his 20s. He meets a girl and seems they have a healthy sex life. I remember only one line from the movie. The girl says something like: “we should make love with our clothes on tonight”. It had a Woody Allen feel to it but not sure if it’s an Allen movie. Anyone think they could connect the dots to find out the title?
