How about guy as the new Wolverine?...

He was on a recent episode of S.W.A.T. and based on that, I have no doubt he could play Wolverine. And he has a physical resemblance to Hugh Jackman.

I think Hugh owns this role for quite some time, same as Downey Jr owns Iron Man and Hemsworth owns Thor.

Exactly. The only way to recast these roles is to go totally different intepretation of the characters.

To resemble Hugh Jackman is not enough. How's that working for Brandon Routh as Superman for example? He totally looks like Christopher Reeve, but it didn't work because audience would just see him as the knock-off version.

Tom Hardy might be quite fittting for a reintepretation of Wolverine, he's short enough and buff af, but he's already Venom so I don't think it's a wise choice.

Here's the problem with these Wolverine actors - the comic book character is 5'3".

Actually not a bad idea. He's got the acting chops. He'd need about 40lbs of muscle.

His "daughter" from Logan. I'm not sure if that particular actress is quite old enough, tho. I suppose it depends on the timeline.
