shareNot to make light of this after reading your post (what you wrote about is enough to give somebody nightmares), but for me it was Rocky IV when I was little. I had a nightmare about Ivan Drago chasing me with his boxing gloves on.

I was traumatized watching "The Crawling Hand" when I was a kid. For years, I literally slept with my hands guarding my throat and my blankets pulled up above my neck for fear that a dismembered hand would strangle me in my sleep.
