Do you find gay/lesbian weddings uncomfortable?

I find them too weird to look at. Two men in tuxedos looks like the groom and the best man. Two women in wedding dresses looks weird. Then when one dresses as a man (the butch) it's like "are you pretending to be "the man"?

I know they got their rights these days but I just find the whole thing uncomfortable to watch.

No, not at all.

No

We get it. Gay people make you uncomfortable and you disapprove of their lifestyle. Maybe try focusing on something else.

OP is probably in the closet!

I did at first. They were uncomfortable because it wasn’t what I was used to. And the language around sexual orientation when I was growing up, I can now recognize as insane ‘which one of you is the man?’, ‘Which is the bride?’; type of stuff. Questions which are an amazing display of the entitlement, discomfort and mental laziness of the asker, but for a time we’re considered ‘reasonable’ confusion.

Now the answers are pretty obvious. Overcoming the discomfort was good us. Just as sitting still long enough to get comfy enough to recognize the beauty of love in same sex weddings; has been for me.

And I’m also gonna say the rights they have today aren’t “theirs”, they’re yours as well. Human rights.

Most people dealt with those reactions a couple of decades ago. You’re thinking at 1.0 in a 22.0 gen world.

Not at all.

Nah. It's just as "shocking" as a wedding with the groom wearing a lime green tuxedo. Or where the bride wears short skirt instead of overly long dress. It's just unusual. That's all.
