Lots of the Rings was a superb representation of the source novel, which was not a trilogy, but was instead a novel hacked into 3 pieces by its publisher, who feared that it would not sell, so hedged its bets and cut its potential losses by printing the book 1 part at a time. When I saw The Fellowship of the Ring, I thought, “They could NOT have made this much effort absent love.” Sorry you lacked the same reaction.

"The 7th Seal": A heap of over-pretentious existensialist shit in black and white? No, thanks.
"Lawrence of Arabia": Just as boring as "The Wizard of Oz".
"Grease": There are some nice songs there, but I hate that Sandy has to change and egen start smoking to fit in with her new "friends".
Citizen Kane - so boring. I only watched it to find out what Rosebud was.
