What's the movie you have seen most in the last 5 years?

For me it's inside Llewyn Davis, have seen it about 15 times.

The Room!

reply

Are you being sarcastic or serious? Sorry, I cant tell.

reply

I'm serious, I promise you. Nothing makes me laugh like The Room!

reply

I'll watch it with the rifftrax, but never without a riff. Same with "Birdemic"

reply

Birdemic is more difficult to watch, but I really don't need any commentary for The Room. Pretty much every line is comedy gold! It's even more fun if you play a drinking game.🍹

reply

I feel like any drinking game associated with "The Room" would kill you XD

reply

Almost! But up till now I've survived every time!😆

reply

Once the 3d bluray arrives, it will be Alita Battle Angel.

reply

I haven't seen that one. But my boss said her kids cried during it.

reply

Embarrassingly enough, The Room

reply

That kind of bad film isn't enjoyable to me. It's just painful to watch.

reply

Perhaps the sex scenes, but every single line in that movie is gold!

Oh hi, Knish! Anyway, how is your sex life???

reply

The Forbidden Room, extremely rewatchable. A struggle the first time through, but totally enjoyable on repeat viewings. It's true!

reply

i agree that it's very re-watchable.
perhaps mostly because there's no real through-line in it.
you can just dip in and out of it, zone out to some segments, leave others on as background viewing.

it's not my favourite maddin - that would be brand upon the brain - but it sure is fun to look at.

reply

Bohemian Rhapsody

reply

I really wanted to see that at the IMAX but it only played for a week.

reply

It waa incredible in IMAX !

reply

I think it'd be The Great Gatsby. Luhrmann's. Probably 5 times, because I have a copy of it on my hard drive, have lost internet connection a lot so I couldn't stream, no TV, and I liked it a lot better than I thought I would.

reply

I’ve never seen any of the films but the book is great.

reply

Predator, Blade Runner, the first 3 Indy films.

reply

Which Blade Runner? Only version I've seen is the Final Cut, but I was thinking of revisiting it when I have a chance since Rutger Hauer passed.

reply

In the last 5 years it would be the final cut but I think I saw the original on TV with the Harrison Ford voice over some years ago, I still like that version tbh.

Hard question...

and I didnt actually know the answer to this until I started listing film but I do have a Definite answer now, but My answer first requires a short explanation.

In 2015, I for The first time Watched The Lord of The Rings Trilogy. I had previous spent the last 15 years avoiding These movies at all cost, even as far as refusing to go see The Return Of The King in theaters in High school with a girl I had been wanting to hook up with...I just had absolutely no interest in ever watching these movies.

In 2015, I finally watched them....I can honestly say It was the single Greatest movie experience of my Life watching TLOTR trilogy....an experience I have been chasing and failed to have again.

since 2015, I have watched All 3 LOTR movies I think 7 times each, always together....and Then I always watched The Hobbit Trilogy afterwards, which I greatly enjoy, but dont feel The movies are as Great as TLOTR movies...

so my answer is....6 Movies...

Fellowship
Two Towers
Return of the King
A Unexpected Journey
Smaug
Battle of the Five Army

Other films I have watched a lot are ...

John Wick
Avengers Infinity War
Civil War
The Conjuring 2
Logan
Split
Mad Max Fury Road
Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens
Captain America: The Winter Soldier
Guardians of The Galaxy
Predestination

reply

Those are a great series of movies. I could watch them over & over.

reply

I never cared for the lotr films, I just don't get what people like about it. Not that there is anything wrong with liking it, but I just don't understand it.

reply

I've only read "The Hobbit" but I preferred it to the movie. I haven't taken the time to read the LOTR trilogy, but it might be the case there too. I enjoyed the movies when they came out but it's not a movie I need to rewatch
