It was the same on IMDb, and I find it curious. My female friends and relatives watch just as many films and TV as their male counterparts, yet women are by far in the minority on MC, as it was on IMDb.
It's not that they aren't into discussing, either, as that happens offline as much with woman as with men. So why do so few women come to a message board and discuss them?

If I'm mistaken then I apologize...it's just that a high number of our regs are ladies and I think the male/female ratio is pretty much even

I've always felt it was weird on the IMDb score breakdowns. Men overwhelmingly give a rating for a movie compared to women. I don't know why considering men watch the same amount of films as women.

shareMaybe there's something to that. I noticed that too. At the time I assumed it was because there were a lot more men on IMDb than women, which is true, but ... I often didn't rate movies or shows either. Usually only if I loved or hated something. Otherwise it didn't seem worth my trouble rating it.

For instance with you I've gotten the impression you're a woman. I could be wrong, and couldn't tell you what it was you said that made me think so, but that's the feeling I've gotten.
I wonder if it’s a time constraints reason? My wife for example is massively into the Facebook, Instagram, Twitter side of social media, whereas I don’t have any such accounts (my wife is our social secretary). There’s only so many hours in the day, so....
