Shameless Question

Let me start by saying that I’ve never seen a single episode, so I know I’m going to sound like I don’t know what I’m talking about. I heard that the main character is a drug addict and alcoholic, and I’m under the impression the oldest daughter pretty much raises the kids. How do they manage to dodge CPS?

It’s been awhile sine I’ve watched it but I think cps was included in a few episodes. Although the show can be entertaining, it is totally far fetched on all accounts.

At one point, she gains sole custody of the kids. Living in the South Side of Chicago, I would assume CPS has their hands full with more serious situations than just a dysfunctional family.

Laura, do you also watch SMILF? If not, you’d probably enjoy it, a similar kind of dramady. If anything, SMILF is more daring and better-acted than Shameless.

never heard of it, but I'll check it out. My other bestie TV show is Californication.
