Two I can think of

Deadwood - 36 episodes rated 8.7/10
The Americans - 75 episodes 8.4/10 - just won the GG in its last season.

Season 1 is worth it. Forget Season 2. Season 3 is about to start.

Of each show I would see some bits here and there but never actually watched the whole episode of any of them.
