I feel sorry for actors

everything in our time is disposable, it is always about the next big thing, most actors only get 15 minutes of fame. Can't be good for mental health.

I agree. But then again they kind of choose to go into the profession. But I agree with the mental health aspect. Unfortunately, none of us regular folk will understand whats it like to handle such fame. Leads me to believe its extremely alienating for them.

I think the best endgame scenario for these famous people is how Little Richard got out and humbled himself.

everything in our time is disposable-

Fame really doesn't last. Even the most famous celebrities (European examples); entertainers like Shakespeare, scientists like Einstein, artists like Da Vinci, and musicians like Mozart, while they are all well known by people the whole world over for their contributions to humanity, remembered more than most, will ultimately fade into history as time passes, even with improvements in record-keeping.

Think about it, there's no one alive today who personally knows each of them or how they really thought or why they did what they did. Should society have virtual simulations in the vain of the "holodeck" from Star Trek, where their personalities can be seen, it would still be hard to truly understand the perspective of their own experience.

Many actors will always be famous for their films, whether they are dead or alive. Look at Marlon Brando, Orson Welles, Paul Newman, Gregory Peck, Clark Gable, Elizabeth Taylor, Bette Davis, Cary Grant, Yul Brenner, Rita Hayworth. . . . .the list goes on.
