I've been away from the computer and news for much of today so I didn't know about this until now.

RIP President Bush.

reply

He took some big secrets to the grave, no doubt.

RIP, I guess.

reply

2018.

A good year.

Sic semper tyrannis.

reply

Very sad to hear
A fine man and a great American
He was the first President i was eligible to vote for
RIP Mr President

reply

My hat is off to him. A WWII Pilot who was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for heroism under fire, after being shot down following a successful bombing mission. He was lucky to have been picked up by a submarine, as he could have easily fallen into Japanese hands. A family member of mine was a speech writer to President Bush and she only has good things to say about him. RIP.

reply

Thanks for sharing this. I think he was an honorable man.

reply

I just heard an anecdote that the Japanese were amazed a submarine was deployed to pick up a downed pilot so efficiently. They said that's not how it works on their side.

reply

Good riddance to a monster and war criminal. I'm a proud Trump Republican and I cant stand the illuminati bushes.

reply

How often do you get repeatedly punched in the face..?
It must be every few days, right?

Just curious

reply

Nah, nobody wants a piece of me. I'll knock anybody on their tail. And all the bushes are pieces of dung. You can throw Clinton and obama in that mix as well. MAGA 2020!!!!!!!!

reply

You are super cool man
Carry on big boy

reply

ok, officially is it:

george herbert walker bush
or
george herbertwalker bush
or
george herbert walker-bush
or
george herbert-walker bush
or
george (herbert) walker bush

i never heard anyone refer to the president as herb, or herbert, let alone herby

why does he get four names, anyway?

if it werent' for his dumb kid, we could just call him george bush, and saved ourselves time & trillions & many, many lives.

So much a better representative of what the republican party should stand for as compared to his son and our current occupant. Loved the movie W, by the way, and James Cromwell was pretty funny with his portrayal of HW. The whole movie was a hoot except that it was a reflection of a seriously messed up presidency.
