Do you watch soap operas?

I made a clean break in 2010, gave up the two big UK soaps.

I watched some Latin American soap opera (telenovelas). Thalia (https://moviechat.org/nm0856977) was great in any soap opera she's in, like Maria Mercedes, Rosalinda, Marimar, Maria la del Barrio, etc.

A couple of times a year I check out Eastenders, but I don't watch any current soaps anymore. Only very old re-runs of The Bold and the Beautiful.

Not since the dawn of cable tv. Before that, only when I had a sick day (a real one) when I was stuck on a couch with a remote and a pile of saltines. They came on after The Price is Right ended.

How many of these are left ??

No I don't and never have watched the soaps.

I did in prison for a while.

The answer is an emphatic NO ! But once there was a funny occasion where I was in a small Coastal Town and went into an establishment that possibly might serve alcohol around 11:00 am, (not that I'm admitting to anything, I was just thirsty, on vacation and had already drank enough coffee).
So I go into what looks like a locally owned business, and there are a couple of middle aged guys staring at the TV transfixed, and it's some soap opera. I know it's fun to get into the story line of a SO but I'd never seen men in a bar watching a soap opera before.
Luke and Laura were big back in the day, and if somebody I liked had a favorite SO I might care to share it with them, but otherwise -- no.
